COPE Sensitive Freight is seeking expressions of interest from current employees for an Operations Admin Support opportunity within our Canberra Operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating daily operational administration to ensure freight movements, customer commitments, reporting and compliance activities are delivered efficiently.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate freight bookings, movements and delivery activities
  • Monitor freight status and follow up outstanding deliveries and operational tasks
  • Manage Authority to Leave (ATL) instructions and driver communications
  • Maintain operational records, reporting and data integrity across business systems
  • Manage the ACT operational inbox and respond to customer enquiries
  • Prepare customer quotes and support key account and government requirements
  • Raise purchase orders, process invoices and maintain operational documentation
  • Support WHS administration, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in transport, logistics or operational administration
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Experience with operational systems and reporting tools

Desirable:

  • Experience in freight, transport or sensitive logistics environments
  • Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
  • Understanding of WHS reporting and compliance processes
  • Experience supporting government or key account customers
