What you can expect from a day in this role: 

In this role you will support the Food & Beverage Manager and will work with the team to ensure that each guest receives individually tailored professional service. You will manage food & beverage operations, liaise with key stakeholders and assist with staff training and development. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading polished front‑of‑house service to deliver exceptional, personalised guest experiences
• Partnering with the Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef to ensure seamless daily operations
• Inspiring, coaching and developing the Food & Beverage team, including onboarding and training through the SPOT framework
• Supporting recruitment, rostering and performance management to optimise service delivery and labour efficiency
• Assisting with financial performance, KPI reporting, premium beverage curation, ordering and inventory control
• Upholding presentation standards, service excellence and guest satisfaction

What you will bring to the role: 

• Previous experience in a Luxury Lodge environment or similar, 

• Minimum 2 years supervisory or management experience 

• Strong focus on staff training and development 

• Excellent food and wine knowledge 

• Strong interpersonal and people skills 

• Flexibility and reliability to work across a variety of shifts, 

• A desire to learn, develop and continuously improve, and 

• Vehicle and drivers' licence are required
